The Tote

Yálla-birr-ang | 67-71 Johnston St, Collingwood

The Tote is the home of rock! The building itself has a colorful history as it was used as an illegal betting shop during the early 1900s, which has sparked rumours of underground tunnels leading to the other corners of the intersection. Since 1980, punters have been showing up to this venue to see some of the best musical moments. Some of the acts that have played here include Nick Cave’s Birthday Party, The White Stripes, The Drones, Mudhoney, Magic Dirt, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and so many more.
