Keith Haring Mural

Ngár-go | 35 Johnston St, Fitzroy

In 1984, Keith Haring visited Naarm to do commissioned work for the National Gallery of Victoria. During that three-week period, he painted his first large-scale mural at what was then the Collingwood Technical School. The mural measures 30 meters in width and 11 meters in height. In 2017, the mural was restored, as the years took their toll on Haring's house paint. Now the mural is back to its 1984 glory for us all to marvel at.
