Knafeh is a famous sweet dessert originating from Nablus, Palestine. It’s made with shredded phyllo or semolina dough layered with soft white cheese, baked until crispy on the outside and gooey inside. After baking, it’s soaked in flavored syrup like rose or orange blossom water and topped with crushed pistachios.
